  Horseshoe Bay is one of the towns that provides a ferry service. The Troll Restaurant sits right in front of it all! Lunch time was packed with people. With the fascinating history of how this restaurant came about, We had to wait 15 minutes for a table! Everyone wants to try their seafood chowder and fish and chips! The price is also high for the area. I find the fish too oily though. The decore of the restaurant is something to read about !

  A pretty big location right on the waterfront of Horseshoe Bay. It often features a lineup to get in but we managed to skip the line by requesting the patio on a day with only little sun. The menu is pretty standard. The cod was really good. Not to much batter and good tasting. The clam chowder was decent, in taste and portion but nothing super special.

  I'd give this restaurant a 4/5 if I wasn't treated like in prison by the short Caucasian waitress who was extremely rude and mean to us and tables next to ours. Because food was great and the manager was very nice and understanding when I mentioned to her how her employee treated us and other customers. I witnessed a woman with her little daughter leave the restaurant without eating because of the treatment they got by the mentioned waitress. Great restaurant was ruined by bad waitress and service.

  The food is great and the portions are big. Quick and friendly service. Nice location. Get patio seating when the weather is nice in the spring and summer.
