  Garbage staff, asides from James who is the only legend in the entire store, he can be annoying at times but at least he's got good intentions. Another cashier called me an idiot for putting my wallet on the moving conveyor belt table while I was counting my change. I'm 95% sure he started the conveyor on purpose. When they make a mistake the first thing they do is defend themselves by pointing blame at someone/ something else. Another cashier verbally abused my sister and kept cat calling her even when he was asked to stop multiple times. If you go to Rockridge, the school next to this safeway, or if you have a backpack on you, be aware of the woman employee with bright pink hair who will follow and watch you to see if you are going to steal anything. Pretty stupid on her part, pretty easy to spot someone spying on you with a highlighter for a head. I get the sense that half the employees want to end their lives when you ask them a question about a product that they of course don't have in stock. Can't wait for the day this Safeway turns into an IGA or literally anything besides this Safeway. Made this review after a lot of my bad experiences. Today waiting for someone in bakery for 15 minutes to come to the counter so I could pick up my cake...turns out no one was in bakery....how? Garbage store.

  OMG what would we do without this place? Great to have a local store that has everything you need only a few minutes drive away. While prices can be a bit higher than the store in Ambleside, the convenience is great. It is also worthwhile mentioning that the hiring tea does a great job - the staff are all helpful, kind and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Thanks guys!
